Abstract
Este ensayo postula un estudio de Lumpérica (1983) de Diamela Eltit como una manifestación artística posmoderna de crítica a la Historia a través de una restitución de todas las grafías públicas de protesta en una ciudad invadida por el miedo y el mutismo. Esa función crítica hacia todo tipo de totalitarismo recae en los desarrapados del lumperío, en una mujer de múltiples rostros, en modos subversivos de la escritura, en escenarios colectivos desmantelados por la vigilancia y el terror. La noción de marginalidad activa, además, la realización de una escritura neovanguardista que altera radicalmente el principio de construcción novelesca.
