Abstract
Los estudios más recientes sobre el decadentismo reconsideran nociones tradicionales como el clásico antagonismo entre decadentismo y positivismo científico. No obstante, lo que no suele tenerse en cuenta es la fundamental ubicación política que la ilusión decadente manejó en función de la mujer. En el presente estudio, se investigan las relaciones estrechas y contradictorias entre el concepto finisecular del decadentismo y el de la Nueva Mujer, ubicándolos también dentro del ámbito hispánico. En relación con este aspecto, se abordan los distintos estadios de la estética de Delmira Agustini -representante emblemática de la intersección entre nociones de género, estética y experimentación científico-política-, a partir de los cuales la autora logra una expresión única que suscribe, al tiempo que subvierte, el huidizo concepto de lo decadente.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
