Abstract
De la obra de Montalvo poco se conoce más allá de sus ensayos y tratados políticos; sin embargo, hay toda una serie de registros discursivos que es necesario incorporar a su monolítica imagen. Los Capítulos que se le olvidaron a Cervantes es un exelente punto de partida no sólo para ampliar esta imagen, sino para repensar nociones con las que la crítica parece sentirse muy cómoda, como la del letrado y el intelectual decimonónico. Este libro aborda las maneras distintas de dialogar con la política y con la propia imagen del escritor, as{i como complejos procesos de autorrepresentación y de concepción del lugar del intelectual dentro de la construcción del imaginario nacional.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
