Abstract
En este ensayo se analizan algunas de las reinscripciones literarias del bandido fronterizo Joaquín Murieta, con el fin de repensar las cuestiones limítrofes y la construcción de las identidades nacionales más allá de las relaciones espaciales y lingúísticas. Las reinscripciones culturales de Joaquín Murieta sirven para repensar el proceso de desterritorialización y la construcción de nuesvas cartografías socioculturales. Por lo tanto, las leyendas y los mitos de Murieta pueden ser el punto de partida para pensar la identidad como producto de una práctica cultural, que ya no depende necesariamente de una geografía o de una lengua.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
