Abstract
El movimiento mapuche pone en evidencia los límites y los olvidos de la historiografía chilena. Si la dictadura implicó la instauración del dispositivo neoliberal, la posdictadura, comprendida oficialmente como recuperación de una larga tradición democrática, ha quedado impedida de pensar los conflictos sociales más allá de las retóricas consensuales de la transición pactada. Uno de estos conflictos se deriva del activismo mapuche, que desde la década del ochenta muestra una dinámica que excede la historicidad de corto plazo del análisis hegemónico de las ciencias sociales y plantea interesantes preguntas a la teoría contemporánea del universalismo. pensar la especificidad de este activismo y su afección constitutiva es abandonar los límites del archivo histórico nacional y su actualización retórica transicional (realismo, consenso, unidad nacional).Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
