Abstract

Este artículo propone un acercamiento a Ruth y Mouche, personajes de Los pasos perdidos de Alejo Carpentier, como construcciones del narrador, como reflejos, proyecciones y fobias de su egocéntrica personalidad. Con el fin de dar un poco de novedad a un aspecto de Los pasos perdidos tan revisado como lo son sus personajes femeninos, nos valemos acá no sólo de la novela sino de su dossier genético para revisar a partir de él, el proceso de creación de dichos personajes.
