Abstract
En este trabajo se estudia La caja está cerrada (1984), la primera novela del escritor cubano Antón Arrufat, a partir de la significación simbólica de algunos objetos que adquieren particular relieve en el texto. Las claves semánticas ofrecidas por éstos permiten el análisis de aspectos fundamentales de la obra como el peculiar proceso de aprendizaje por el que atraviesa el protagonista.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
