Abstract
Este ensayo es una lectura crítica de la sexualidad y el auto-concepto del narrador en la novela Memoria de mis putas tristes de Gabriel García Márquez. El propósito es indagar en la mitología asociada con la masculinidad y demostrar que el narrador no sólo se condena a sí mismo en la medida en que relata las memorias de un narcisista, sino que también presenta una oportunidad de examinar el culto de la virginidad como construcción.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
