Abstract

En un pequeño ensayo sobre los ángeles, Jorge Luis Borges decía que la imaginación de los hombres ha creado tritones, hipogrifos, quimeras, dragones, aves fénix, unicornios, cíclopes, basiliscos, leviatanes, faunos, por mencionarsólo algunos seres extraordinarios. Curiosamente, todos ellos han desaparecido, como no ha sucedido con los ángeles. Ya ningún poeta se atreve a sacar de las cenizas al ave fénix o pasear sobre un pegaso a uno de sus personajes, pero los ángeles todavía cruzan sus versos y resplandecen en ellos.
