Abstract
El carnaval como expresión humana sigue inquietando a muchos estudiosos de las ciencias sociales, de la filosofía, del arte, de la historia, de la literatura. Su registro aparece en pintura, en narrativa o en poesía. Umberto Eco (1989:9-20) piensa que para definirlo sería suficiente delimitar con precisión lo cómico, una situación que primordialmente se enmarca en la violación de reglas, en el goce de esa violación y en la indiferencia frente a la defensa de las reglas violadas. Desde luego que el examen del carnaval enseña a su vez el cumplimiento de unas reglas que permiten la violación de esas otras reglas que toleran que el rey sea un mendigo o que los pájaros les disparen a las escopetas. y, si como algunos dicen, es un desorden, tal desorden tiene sus reglas.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
