Abstract
El mundo se ha instaurado en un nuevo marco de ideas, rotulado con el nombre de modernidad. Una modernidad que como proyecto, a su vez se dispone como ejercicio práctico dependiendo de las coordenadas espacio-temporales, en las que el sujeto se apropia de los rasgos de dicho fenómeno tanto cultural como histórico y en consecuencia literario. Así mismo, la ciudad, como mapa-escenario de la modernidad permite la acción y sucesión de una serie de personajes que interactúan en un medio urbano caracterizado por el deseo que tienen las ciudades de ingresar a la modernidad. Un deseo que se origina de manera impositiva desde el gobierno de los estados. Aún a costa de la aplicación de la modernidad como una imposición-necesidad, histórica de avance.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
