Abstract
Este artículo describe el análisis que el autor hace de El astillero de Juan Carlos Onetti en aspectos tales como los espacios, el narrador, los personajes y el héroe. Este último desde diversas ópticas: su metamorfosis, su relación con la muerte, la espera sin esperanza, la visió nque los otros tienen de él, el aspecto ambiental de la lluvia, y la soledad. Todo lo cual permite otra forma de revisar la escritura irónica de Onetti como ejercicio de denuncia, de crítica profunda al capitalismo y su papel en Latinoamérica.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
