Abstract
La década de los años noventa en Hispanoamérica ha visto un auge tanto de los estudios sobre la cultura y los textos coloniales como de los estudios sobre la escritura de las mujeres. Para el caso colombiano, algunos trabajos, como ¿Y las mujeres? (1991) o Las mujeres en la historia de Colombia (1995), abren las puertas a un estudio serio de estos temas en nuestra literatura. Esa situación se refleja en la edición de manuscritos hasta entonces desconocidos, así como en la interpretacióny la lectura de los mismos. Este tipo de trabajo permite desentrañar los complejos procesos por los cuales las mujeres afirmaron su condición de sujetos en la época colonial, cuando tal pretensión era vista como inadecuada e incluso peligrosa.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
