Abstract
El presente artículo se sitúa en Historia de la Monja Alférez, escrita por ella misma, texto de corte autobiográfico del siglo XVII atribuido a Catalina de Erauso, para evaluar la construcción de un sujeto ejemplar en la narración simulando la adscripción, desde su condición de vizcaína, a la centralidad hegemónica del patriarcado colonial, con el fin de legitimar las conflictivas acciones del personaje en territorio americano.
