Abstract

This article is based on fieldwork ethnographic, based on interviews and participant observation of a social process Medellin, to unravel positions, tensions and struggles for recognition of the right to territory and ultimately, the right to the city, from the struggle for recognition of political and social links. The text presents the social planning, its civic foundation, and social  protest as a way of meaning of political action of some communities dissatisfied with the huge impact caused by large urban infrastructure projects in the city of Medellin.
