Abstract
The study of the real estate industry has called the attention of many researchers worldwide. Notwithstanding, it has had a poor impact in Colombia because the information on the real value of selling is quite limited in this country. This work used Geographically Weighted Regression models in order to analyze how the city views influence the housing in Envigado, Colombia.
The main finding from this study is that when an apartment has a view over the city, there is a trend to be sold at a higher value than those with no view. It is a positive externality.
