Resumen

Este artículo describe las herramientas participativas utilizadas en el proyecto IN-HABIT del programa Horizonte 2020, cuyo objetivo es la creación colaborativa de soluciones para la salud y el bienestar inclusivos (IHW) en cuatro pequeñas y medianas ciudades europeas. A diferencia de estudios convencionales, que priorizan intervenciones ecológicas para la salud y el bienestar, IN-HABIT hace hincapié en la inclusión, igualdad de género y una amplia participación social. Cada ciudad estableció un enfoque temático dentro del IHW dando lugar a cuatro proyectos distintos. La metodología de cocreación pretende mejorar la participación pública en estas iniciativas mediante el uso de herramientas basadas en la teoría del cambio, el desarrollo sostenible integrado y la investigación-acción participativa, con el objetivo de implicar a las partes interesadas y permitir a los miembros de IN-HABIT supervisar y autodocumentar sus progresos. La duración del proyecto IN-HABIT ha permitido analizar cómo se han modificado adaptativamente estas metodologías en respuesta a la cambiante dinámica de la participación pública a lo largo de cinco años. El documento concluye con reflexiones sobre las desviaciones, los puntos en común y el aprendizaje transnacional en los cuatro contextos urbanos.
