Abstract
Frente a la revalorización de los productos agroalimentarios tradicionales y al aumento de la vulnerabilidad social y económica en las zonas rurales de América Latina, ha sido creciente la tendencia a la verticalización de la producción a través de la agroindustrialización en la agricultura familiar. El objetivo central de este trabajo consiste en apuntar y analizar la importancia de las agroindustrias familiares en las dinámicas de desarrollo dentro de las zonas rurales, centrándo la discusión en la región Sur del Brasil. Este estudio esta basado en algunos indicadores que se presentan de forma común en el apuntamiento de la importancia de las pequeñas agroindustrias en el proceso de fortalecimiento de la agricultura familiar.Cuadernos de Desarrollo Ruralis registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
