Abstract
La temática ambiental ha cobrado relevancia y es objeto de preocupación mundial.Es por esto que decidimos analizar este tema, buscando el por qué de esta real preocupación,intentando dilucidar los caracteres propios y especiales del daño ambiental yde la Responsabilidad Civil que el mismo genera.De estas peculiaridades no escapa el contrato de seguros que busca cubrir los dañosambientales, el cual plantea importantes interrogantes como ser, ¿en qué consiste eldaño ambiental?, ¿cómo se puede cubrir el daño ambiental cuando el mismo puede notener límite temporal o geográfico?, ¿qué tipo de Responsabilidad Civil debe generarel daño ambiental, objetiva o subjetiva?, ¿cuál es la realidad de la temática ambientaly del seguro ambiental en Uruguay y el derecho comparado?Intentaremos responder estos interrogantes en el correr del presente trabajo.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
