Abstract
El presente texto tiene por objeto analizar tres temas de primordial importancia para el seguro de vida en Colombia, tomando como base de partida tres sentencias fundamentales que sentaron los lineamientos jurídicos frente a dichos tópicos. Los temas por tratar son los siguientes:(1) La carga de conservación del estado del riesgo en el contrato de seguro de vida y su consecuente notificación en caso de agravación, previstos en el artículo 1060 del Código de Comercio; (2) El inicio de la vigencia del seguro de vida en caso de falta de estipulación expresa (artículos 1057, 1151 y 1152 del Código de Comercio); y (3) La posibilidad que un documento particular pueda modificar la cobertura prevista en las condiciones generales de una póliza de vida.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
