Abstract
La póliza Todo Riesgo Construcción es una póliza multiriesgo basada en la estructura de todo riesgo nombrado con exclusiones, especialmente diseñada para amparar daños en construcciones de obras civiles, carreteras, túneles, soluciones de vivienda, y en general todo tipo de obra civil que sea consecuencia del inicio de una construcción y que se encuentre sometida a riesgos inherentes de su operación y de la naturaleza.
Es una de las principales coberturas de seguro para ingeniería y está siendo en la actualidad protagonista importante para motivar el desarrollo en el que estará inmerso el país durante los próximos 10 años apalancando el crecimiento dinámico de la infraestructura vial, de obras civiles y en general el desarrollo de soluciones específicas en materia de construcción en nuestro país. Por lo tanto, el presente artículo motiva a una reflexión de las oportunidades económicas del mercado de seguros en Colombia para la póliza de TRC (Todo Riesgo Construcción ) y su estructura de amparos derivado de las coberturas de la mencionada póliza.
