Abstract
Upon national, general and binding entry into force of Environmental General Law back in 2002 along with resolutions, some excesses may be identified, not only with regard to drafting and scope but also regarding factual situations, as only with its language any opportunity of its being harmonized with the law is impeded from taking place and on the contrary impact of huge transcendence takes place within the economies of insurance companies. Regulations derived from the Environmental General Law when setting out international environmental practices and carefully specifying the insurance coverage of insured entities are part of the proposals to reduce this tragic outcome as merging the tolerable harm to the environment and repair of such consequences will allow a correct environmental coverage.
