Abstract
The purpose of this article is to shows the curriculum's changes given from the year 2000 in the nursing career and the revision process that took place. The oriented criteria of the process are defined, as well as the curricular model and the methodological proposal.
The development of the wordwide skills of the nursing professional of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana is accomplished by an organized curricular structure in seven different topics, being this an organization that facees in a global perspective, all the studies, analysis, and investigations of the phenomena related with the academic kowledge and the one produced by the different socialization scenarios. This curricular structure requires an active participation of the teachers and the students, and also the interaction of pedagogical intermediates, communicability and the use of practice scenarios that allow the direct contact of the student and the national health reality with the professional dury
