Abstract

Introduction: ICT is a global phenomenon. With its use, Nursing makes viable actions of prevention and care of skin lesions related to dependence. These informative technological tools, allow to empower the patient, his caregiver and the health team. Objective: To implementation of a weblog for the prevention, basic and advanced care of people with skin lesions. The tool will provide information based on the best scientific evidence available. Results: Positioning of the Pielarte UN weblog as a care information tool on the Wordpress platform, through relevant dissemination in different academic events. Conclusions: ICT is a useful strategy to complement Nursing interventions in the field of information to patients, caregivers and professionals in order to prevent skin lesions related to care and dependence.
