Canales del saber regional; oralidad y memoria

Abstract

In this article, the author presents the problem of the nature of discourse, and especially, of «life history»  a field which the social sciences has defined as «social representation.» The article re examines an epistemological argument whose root successfully supports historical theory in terms of concepts of truth, historical subject, and the duality between objectivity and subjectivity. As such, the article uniquely explores the controversy between the spoken and written word, as a space where different power structures come together.
