##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.details##
Abstract
This article analyzes the genesis of Stalinism within the framework of other democratic historical alternatives that existed and lost out during the Russian revolution of 1917. The collapse of those historic alternatives facilitated the rise of Stalinism and the evolution of Soviet socialism through unintented causes, which were opposed to the Marxist doctrine, which had inspired it. The article tries to explain thos objective factors which determined the course finally taken by the soviet society.
