Abstract

This article explores the dimensions of the Internetaccess gap through a review on the evolutionof this technology and its socio-political impactwithin the framework of the information andknowledge society, this in order to contrast theconditions of exclusion arising in the countryand the answers offered by the current sectorialpolicy searching alternative scenarios of publicintervention oriented to the effective achievementof digital inclusion.
