Abstract
This article, according to the importance andcomplexity conceptual precision has for SocialSciences, is to submit for discussion the conceptof political disaffection. This corresponds toa phenomenon that is identified in the midninetiesin Chile, after the return to democracy.Although the literature has noticed the phenomenon,it lacks a precise definition; in our pointof view, the concept has not been contextualizedin a way that presents the necessary attributesthat adjust it to Chilean reality in order to be ableto observe it clearly.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
