Abstract
This article is part of the Master’s thesis inSocial Policy “Female Stray Bodies: To a socialconstruction of gender policy in Bogotá” like aresult of my own work experience as a youngstate official of the Protection of Children andyouth District Institute (or IDIPRON initialsin spanish). During the research process weattempted to construct knowledge from theexperience of those who were involved in theproblem of study, questioning the constructionof sexualities and gender in street contexts aswell as the government response that supportroles and gender stereotypes in District´s socialservice programs, aimed at children and youthinhabitant of / in street. The purpose of the paper is to present the conceptual and methodologicalroute for the construction of a new category:stray female bodies.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
