Abstract

Este ensayo subraya puentes entre los temas, personajes, perfiles psicológicos, paisajes naturales, imágenes y narrativas entre las literaturas del Caribe y el Nordeste brasileño. Se presenta la tesis, basada en una observación de Gabriel García Márquez, de la continuidad cultural entre el Caribe y aquella región del Brasil, como lo demuestran ilustraciones comparativas de clásicos del Premio Nobel colombiano y títulos de la literatura regionalista “nordestina” del Brasil.
