Abstract
This paper proposes that in the frontier and Mexican state of Chihuahua a tradition of student mobilization of women has crystallized, although in its beginnings it did not identify itself necessarily with feminist postulates, it did continually proclaim the need to defend, promote and enunciate in “high voice” their own actions as young women, students and left wing advocates in the 60’s-70’s decades. Divided into three sections, the text presents the first student movements housed in the former University of Chihuahua; then it presents the way in which this movements could be related to the creation of the ENAH-Chihuahua in the late 90’s; and finally closes with the participation of those who are currently students of history in the latest student movement that has taken place at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua in 2024.
