Call for Papers for a Special Issue in Universitas Psychologica: Economic Reasoning, Cognitive Development, and Decision-Making

Universitas Psychologica is pleased to announce a call for original and innovative articles for a special monographic section to be published in 2025. This monograph aims to promote and disseminate research exploring the relationship between economic reasoning, cognitive and moral development, and rational decision-making, with a focus on how these processes contribute to phenomena such as corruption and the persistence of economic and social inequality.

We invite scholars and professionals to submit their work in either Spanish or English, offering new theoretical, empirical, or methodological perspectives on these crucial topics. Articles that adopt interdisciplinary approaches and contribute to a deeper understanding of these social dynamics will be especially valued.

This monograph will have as associate editors Juan José Giraldo, PhD (University of Reading, UK), researcher at Universidad de la Sabana; Santiago Alonso Diaz, PhD (University of Rochester, US), researcher at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey; and Mario Gutiérrez-Romero (Université Lumière Lyon 2, FR), researcher at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Submission Requirements:
- Articles must be original and not currently under review by another journal.
- Manuscripts must follow the APA 7th Edition citation and writing guidelines.
