Abstract
Este ensayo reflexiona sobre la globalización, información y comunicación en Latinoamérica. Siguiendo al investigador Argentino Nestor García Canclini, el autor afirma que la globalización supone uan interacción funcional entre actividades económicas y culturales por un sistema multi-centrado donde de la velocidad es más importante que la posición geográfica. Se examina la noción de posmodernidad y sus posibles conexiones con al modernidad. El problema de la modernidad y la posmodernidad. en Latinoamérica es igualmente debatida. Concluye con una reflexión acerca de las posibilidades de una esfera pública democratica y pluralista en el contexto de uan realidad comunicacional crecientemente orientada hacia lo privado.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
