Abstract
El artículo analiza el papel de la educación ambiental en el proceso de transformación social que actualmente vive Colombia y en la puesta en marcha de una política nacional de educación ambiental. Este análisis se realiza desde la noción de "sostenibilidad" de la comunicación participativa y su aplicación en la educación ambiental como un contexto múñtiple de comunicación y participación, de desarrollo de sociedades responsables, de resolución de conflictos, y de construcción social y cultural de la cuestión ambiental y el desarrollo participativo. Se evalúan tres experiencias Colombianas: Los Proyectos Ambientales Escolares, los Proyectos Ciudadanos de Educación Ambiental y los Comités Interinstitucionales Departamentales de Educación Ambiental. El autor concluye proponiendo áreas de apoyo uqe loa comunicación participativa puede fortalecer en la educación ambiental en Colombia y reflexiona acerca de su "sostenibilidad" futura.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
