Abstract
Este articulo busca evidenciar las concepciones acerca de la relación entre medios audiovisuales y educación existentes en los documentos oficiales de la Republica de la Argentina sobre educación. El analasis revela que lo audiovisual aparece marginalmente y se privilegia una mirada centrada en la lengua. La imagen se ubica en lo extraescolar e informal y parece no merecer análisis y reflexión en el aula de clase. se restringe el concepto de la alfabetización al texto escrito y la "formación de audiencias" se sigue manteniendo en una situacion periférica. La autora concluye que un redescubrimiento de la imagen por parte de la escuela podría construir un pretexto para la reordenación de su relación crítica con la sociedad actual.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
