Abstract
Una y otra descripciones pertenecen a quien en los últimos diez años fue llamado, tanto por los medios masivos como por las autoridades nacionales y americanas, “el más grande criminal del mundo”, “el enemigo público numero uno”, “jefe de la más poderosa organización delectiva de toda la Tierra” y otras denominaciones de corte más o menos hiperbólico. Hablar de Escobar y de su muerte es una buena oportunidad para ver no sólo cómo nos informaron de este suceso los noticieros de televisión, sino para echar una ojeada a un genero informativo casi inexistente en nuestros espacios noticiosos de televisión.
