Abstract

The International Society for the Advancement of Research in Writing (ISAWR, by its initials in English) is a community made up of researchers from different regions of the world, interested in writing studies at all educational levels. The meeting that they have promoted since its inception, Research in writing across borders (WRAB), is, today, one of the most important in the world. Thanks to its continuity and its valuable contributions, in its nine years of history (2008-2017), it has allowed, among other possibilities, the exchange of approaches among colleagues, the permanent updating and the formation of networks and groups to carry out research and international experiences.
