Resumo

O presente artigo faz revisão de algumas tecnologias digitais concebidas em torno de práticas artesanais de tecelão, rendado e costura. Tal revisão visa identificar as tensões e encontros existindo entre os saberes associados ao têxtil e artesanal, e os relativos à tecnologia e informática. Em particular, o artigo foca-se em três tipos de desenho de tecnologias da informação: em primeiro lugar, naquele orientado â construção de repositórios digitais de práticas têxteis artesanais; em segundo lugar, no desenvolvimento de interfaces tangíveis de usuário inspiradas na materialidade do têxtil e, por fim, em iniciativas que, para idear tecnologias digitais, centram-se no potencial criativo das linguagens-materiais da produção têxtil artesanal. O artigo fecha com uma reflexão estabelecida em torno às possibilidades de co-aprendizagem emergindo dos encontros que ocorrem entre tecnologia digital e tecelagem ou rendado artesanal.
