Abstract

This work investigates the relevance of the expression “theological locus” in Jon Sobrino. We begin from a basic assumption of liberation theology, namely, God is present in history and he continues revealing himsel  in the present history. The task is to approach to the controversy about the theological method of Sobrino and his resource to the hermeneutic circle, in order to understand the revelation from the praxis of following of Christ.
