Abstract
Los que no conocen mucho al filósofo y teólogo canadiense Bernard Lonergan piensan que su obra se limita a una teoría del conocimiento (Insight, 1953). Sin embargo, Lonergan tuvo una evolución continua en su pensamiento, y entró en contacto con la fenomenología y el existencialismo. En Método en teología (1972) y en otras obras posteriores desarrolla mucho el dinamismo existencial que corresponde al nivel de decidir y de amar, que responde a las siguientes preguntas: ¿Qué quiero hacer yo de mi propia vida? ¿Qué considero realmente valioso? Nos hallamos en el campo de la moral.
