Comprensión epistemológica de la teología pastoral

Abstract

La teología pastoral o práctica tiene un halo de sospecha frente a la cientificidad de la teología sistemática y la teología bíblica. Mejor aún, existe un imaginario que la presenta como una disciplina de segundo orden. Este artículo pretende reivindicar el estatuto epistemológico de la teología pastoral haciendo especial énfasis en su objeto y su método. Además, a través del texto, se presenta la articulación que tiene con otros tratados teológicos al dejar claro que ésta se convierte en disciplina mediadora de dichos saberes y que posee tal complejidad que tiene sus propias especializaciones, aun cuando sea relativamente nueva dentro de la teología. La teología pastoral tiene un marco de referencia y unas raíces que permiten plantear al final del texto unos cuestionamientos que merecen ser reflexionados por teólogos, pastoralistas y creyentes.
