Abstract
Tras recordar algunos de sus riesgos y beneficios, se consideran las condiciones constitutivas del perdón. Se reconoce que el perdón de una ofensa (o un daño o un descuido) restablece lavigencia de una norma o ayuda a reparar un acuerdo, y permite al perdonado recobrar el reconocimiento como “persona buena”, como sujeto moral responsable. Así, lo excesivo del perdón se ve justificado por su contribución al restablecimiento de normas, acuerdos e identidades. Tal contribución, que depende mucho del respeto a las condiciones constitutivas, podría ser más grande pero también mucho más problemática en una sociedad conflictiva, especialmente cuando el uso privado de la violencia ha ayudado a que lo legalmente prohibido sea aceptado moral y culturalmente.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
