Abstract
En enero-febrero de 1995 hubo una guerra entre las nacíones vecínas de Ecuador y Perú. Yo estaba en Quíto durante este período, preparándome para el segundo semestre de clases en la Uníversídad Católíca, Facultad de Teología. Estudíaba con seríedad ellíbro de Qohélet o Ecclesíástes, porque me tocaba ímpartír el curso de "Libros Sapienciales" a los estudiantes de tercero y de segundo año de Teología. Se declaró un cese de fuego mutuo entre estos dos países vecinos en el día del amor, el 14 de febrero de 1995. Por mi parte deseaba desarrollar una reflexión teológica sobre esta batalla, basándome principalmente en el libro del "Qohélet" en hebreo o "Eclesiastés" en la mayoría de nuestras biblias en español.
