Abstract
El propósito de este trabajo es bien preciso: Supuesta la prolongada preparación de la IV Conferencia General del Episcopado Latinoamericano y su realización, dentro del contexto de la Nueva Evangelización, se trata de poner en claro las raíces de fe revelada de esta categoría teológica, "inculturación del Evangelio". De allí que lo procedente y metódico sea averiguar en primer lugar cual es el contenido del concepto mismo de inculturación, según la comprehensión que tal concepto tiene en los documentos recientes del Magisterio; y en segundo lugar, identificar cuales verdades de la Revelación constituyen los puntos de partida en los cuales se inspiran tales documentos.
