Abstract
Un nuevo juglar recrea el clima del pensamiento y del espacio primitivo. Finalizando el siglo veinte y en la plenitud del racionalismo y del espíritu moderno o posmoderao arraigado en las ciudades, aparece una novela interesada más que en la innovación o la experimentación formal y temática, en la visión del mundo urbano, o en la reflexión analítica de la historia occidental y la transculturación en América, El Gran Jaguar se preocupa por comprender la vida y la cultura precolombina en una región específica de Colombia, a partir del conocimiento que se tiene de ésta, en la supervivencia de mitos, rituales, creencias, costumbres, hombres y paisaje de tribus tairona y caribe.
