Abstract
Las actividades y las ceremonias de la Semana Santa de la ciudad de Mompóx, como expresión de religiosidad popular corresponden a las condiciones específicas de una región del país: la depresión mompoxina. Encierran el sincretismo de formas doctrinarias y litúrgicas de la religión católica con elementos mágicos y paganos. Su estudio se presenta como una propuesta de carácter método-lógico para el estudio de una región cultural y de su identidad.
