II - DISCUSIÓN

Abstract

Comentando la pregunta que hacía el P, Vélez de si un cristiano puede ser marxista, tengo una inquietud: En éstos días se ha dicho aquí que los planteamientos de Marx se refieren a la situación del siglo XIX, ló que significaría que su crítica a la religión no se aplica a la religión de hoy. Sin embargo, al examinar la mentalidad materialista de nuestra sociedad y de los países industrializados, creo que se aplica mucho la crítica de Marx a la religión, aunque también ahora se advierte un despertar de los cristianos a la problemática social. Por otra parte, hay una contradicción de esa crítica dentro de los mismos países socialistas, pues si la religión fuera opio, cómo se explica el fenómeno religioso de Polo­nia?
