Abstract
En toda aproximación a la concepción que de la Filosofía Marx fue logrando a través de sus estudios, de su práctica política y de sus escritos, es preciso recordar que Marx nunca escribió —aunque tuvo intención de hacerlo— una obra sistemática y explícita sobre Filosofía. Su concepción quedó apenas esbozada en algunas frases insertas en trabajos, donde abordaba otros temas, o en obras polémicas, en las cuales el interés principal era cuestionar y desenmascarar la posición de sus adversarios u opositores. Además, a lo largo de su vida Marx fue cambiando de posición y fue haciendo énfasis en aspectos distintos, tanto que, a veces, da la impresión de que sostenía puntos de vista contradictorios. Si a esto se agrega el hecho de que en los cien años que han transcurrido desde su muerte se han sucedido diversas interpretaciones de su obra, resulta entonces claro que hacer una presentación de la concepción de Marx sobre la Filosofía es tarea muy difícil y aventurada.
