Abstract
La poesía de Eduardo Carranza se sitúa en la historia de la literatura-colombiana como encarnadura y encauzadora de un movimiento de renovación, el movimiento Piedra y Cielo, que dio en nuestro país un vuelco tanto a la actitud del autor frente a su obra como en lo que se refiere al manejo del lenguaje y su función. Poesía esencialmente metafórica, de bellísimas imágenes, el principal de sus temas es el amor, y a través de él la aproximación a la naturaleza con su fuerza de vida y plenitud. Por el sentimiento del amor llega el poeta al sentimiento del tiempo y por él al de la propia existencia, en una evolución, tanto interior como formal, que el presente trabajo requiere en alguna medida ilustrar.
