Evolución del lenguaje poético en Colombia

Abstract

Es propósito de la presente selección ilustrar, así sea en escasa medida, la evolución del lenguaje poético en Colombia. No se trata, en rigor, de una antología, con la escogencia de nombres y de obras sometida al gusto perso­nal, o de una recopilación histórica que exigiría ser completa y estar acom­pañada de un eficiente aparato crítico. Más bien quisiera aproximarse a las sucesivas modalidades de la composición poética y su gravitación sobre el verso posterior, a las transformaciones de ese verso y de la estructura y sentido del poema, a la postura del poeta respecto del ideal de su obra.
